Course Description
Understanding and being understood is a simple and basic human need – yet, there is nothing simple about us humans. Even at a young age, our children are complex, unique and have their very own persona. There are many contributing factors and circumstances that make personalities so intriguing. Yet often we just don’t get it when our children act certain ways.
In this e-learning course – Unlocking the Mystery of Your Child: Why They Are the Way They Are, you will be looking at some of your children’s fundamental make up and learn how you can adjust and take steps to help balance their tendencies; foster less extreme behaviours; and support them in their playing, learning and managing their relationships in a way that leaves them and you feeling good. Not only will you better understand your children but you can also gain some insight into yourself, your partner and other important people into your life.
Course Objectives
By completing this e-learning course, you will:
- Identify your and your child’s ‘Top Card’ and the associated personality traits.
- List the Top Card personality assets and liabilities and describe tactics to help your child thrive within their own Top Card.
- Understand birth order, how it impacts our children and how certain variables can alter typical birth order.
- Identify the typical ages & stages of a child’s development to better understand where your child is and where they are going.
- List some self-care activities to help you recharge your batteries as a parent.
*Although all course objectives listed are to help better understand your children, all of these can also be applied to yourself, your partner, friends, business associates and other loved ones.
