A good listening practice is to check our understanding of what was said. Paraphrasing, or repeating back in our own words what we think was said can help eliminate miscommunications.

    1. Absolutely! Validation is everything when we are listening. Validation helps a person to feel understood and accepted, whether or not we agree with the feeling. Thank you for your input we value that you are on this parenting journey with us!
