Play is considered a child’s work. Just like adults have jobs and responsibilities, it is a child’s job to play. It is key to the healthy development of a child as play provides the opportunity to build important skills needed throughout life.
In this FEC e-learning course What’s Play Got to Do With It?, you will discover the benefits, stages and different types of play and their role in stimulating your child’s imagination, thinking, problem solving and other life skills. You will get some ideas on how to easily and virtually at no cost set up your own “At-Home Play-Based Environment” to help you introduce your child to a world of exploration, adventure and fun.
