September14Join other parents and caregivers for a facilitator led discussion about the featured book every Monday evening. Discussion group will take place for approximately 12 weeks although this will vary according to the book length, structure, and content.

Beginning on September 14, 2026, we will be discussing the book, Hold On To Your Kids by Dr. Gordon Neufeld and Dr. Gabor Maté.

PARENTING< ANGER AND YOU
Tuesdays, September 22 to November 10, 2026

Parenting can be incredibly demanding, discouraging, and difficult and you may find it challenging to manage your anger in certain situations. This can be even harder if you have a child who also has angry outbursts and moods.

Join us for apparent-to-parent eight-week program for some candid discussions and to learn some strategies that can help your child (and you) to keep your cool.
You will:
• Gain an understanding of what anger is and the different reactions your child (and you) may have while experiencing anger.
• Gain basic knowledge of your child’s personality (and your own) to grasp how he or she processes anger and what is needed from his or her primary caregivers/parents when angry.
• Learn about the different developmental stages of children and youth and how they may express/ experience anger at each stage.
• Discover some basic communication skills to help you navigate through sensitive interactions with your child.

* This program involves a combination of completing the eLearning course, Why So Angry? Parenting Strategies to Deal with Anger and Avoid Explosions with virtual discussions on Tuesday evenings for a total of 8 weeks. You will be provided with a promotional code to access the eLearning course in session 1.

COOPERATIVE PARENTING THROUGH SEPARATION AND DIVORCE
Wednesdays, October 14 to December 2, 2026

There are countless reasons why couples separate and divorce. The result of this life changing decision can create havoc in your life and open the flood gates for the intense emotions that are sure to follow. And as difficult as separation is for you, it can be an even more difficult experience for your child.
Discover through this parent-to-parent course how you can begin parenting in partnership through your separation and divorce.

  • Discover strategies and tips on how to break the news to your child.
  • Learn some specific communication skills you can use while interacting with your child (and the other parent) when emotions are difficult to control.
  • Discover problem solving techniques to help you navigate through difficult circumstances and teach your child this important life skill.
  • Adapt some targeted strategies to help you keep a Child First Focus when dealing with the other parent and separation issues.

SIBLINGS WITHOUT RIVALRY

Parents and caregivers everywhere ask the same question, “Why are these kids always fighting?” This is true for most families, whether you are a single parent family, a traditional family, or a blended step-family – siblings seem to get into or create combat situations among themselves no matter how hard we try to obtain the opposite results.

Join us for a parent-to-parent experience in this six-week virtual course to:

  • Explore ways to reduce the conflict amongst your children.
  • Learn why children fight in the first place.
  • Explore how to minimize the reasons for conflict.
  • Discover various strategies to help you maneuver around the conflict when it happens.

THE 3 R'S: RAISING RESPONSIBLE, RESPECTFUL, AND RESILIENT CHILDREN

This seven (7) week live virtual program is for parents or caregivers of children from toddlers to teens with a focus on understanding misbehaviour, encouragement for healthy self-esteem, communication, problem solving, and discipline.
