Financial Literacy Toolkits for Families
Teaching Children Financial Literacy
Our parenting journey is a rewarding and sometimes challenging one. We enjoy watching our children grow, develop, and master many new skills along the way. As parents and caregivers, we help them along the way by guiding, encouraging, and teaching them important life skills such as communicating, problem solving, responsibility, and self-discipline.
Did you know that financial literacy is also an important life skill that can help your child as they mature into adulthood and for the rest of their lives? Teaching them the basic concepts of good financial habits and money management can help them become financially responsible and independent people.
The resources in this toolkit can help you get started with tips and suggestions to help you introduce and discuss some of the basics of financial literacy with young and older children alike.
